More than a dozen colonies are in a bad condition in Nagla Kali, Kahrai, Rajrai and Semri areas located on Shamsabad Road of Tajnagari Agra. People have been struggling with the problems of roads, water and sewer for many years. The unpaved roads are filled with dirty water. Even the drain has not been built. Most of the people want to sell their houses from here and move to another place. To express their anger over the negligence of public representatives, they have pasted ‘Makan Bikau’ posters. Protests were also held on Sunday.

From 10 thousand for fifteen years in Pushpanjali Homes, Pushpanjali Eco City, Pushpanjali Cloud Valley, Govind Nagar, Omashree Green Homes Phase-1 & 2, Shiv Ganga Residency, Tularam Garden, Gayatri Upvan, Maruti Pravasham, Maruti Pravasham Eco, Tirupati Enclave etc. Many people are troubled by the lack of drainage and sewage disposal system.

Area residents Shri Bhagwan Sharma, Devendra Upadhyay, Balram Singh and Rajiv Saxena say that they are tired of making rounds of MPs, MLAs, ministers and administrative officials for four years. Due to lack of roads and drains, the problem of dirty water has become acute. Children are falling ill.

Women and elderly people are facing problems. On Sunday, residents pasted posters of boycott of the upcoming elections and sale of houses on the gates of a dozen colonies. It is written on the poster that all the houses in the colony are for sale.

The public will protest until there is no permanent disposal of dirty water. Area residents Sumit Johri, Narendra Singh, Rakesh Upadhyay, Manmohan Sharma, Harish Bhardwaj and Anil Shukla say that if their problems are not resolved before the elections, they will be forced to resort to violent agitation.
